This policy explains how Blackline Studios handles information through Baxter, The Butler (“BAXTER”), a Discord community-management bot.

2. Information processed

Depending on features enabled and interactions initiated, BAXTER may process Discord user, server, channel, and role IDs; server settings; ticket contents, attachments, transcripts, and staff actions; moderation records; member profiles; role selections; check-in activity; and technical logs. Exact fields and collection triggers must be verified against the deployed application.

3. Uses

Information is used to provide requested features, manage access and permissions, respond to support requests, maintain records needed for operation, investigate failures, and protect the service.

4. Storage and service providers

BAXTER operates through Discord and uses application storage. Before publication, disclose the actual hosting/storage provider, geographic processing locations if relevant, and any additional processors.

5. Retention and deletion

Before publication, specify retention periods or criteria for tickets, transcripts, moderation logs, backups, and other user data; explain what happens when a server removes BAXTER and how backup deletion works. Requests may be sent to the contact below, subject to applicable legal obligations and valid exceptions.

6. Sharing

Information may be visible to authorized server staff as part of enabled features and processed by service providers needed to operate BAXTER. Confirm any additional disclosures and whether any analytics, advertising, or other sharing occurs before publication.

Blackline Studios intends to use reasonable security safeguards. No system can guarantee complete security.

8. Your choices and requests

Users can contact Blackline Studios to ask about information associated with their Discord account, request correction where appropriate, or request deletion subject to applicable requirements. Server administrators can disable features or remove the bot. Confirm the operational request-handling workflow before publication.

9. Age eligibility

BAXTER is intended for people eligible to use Discord under its terms and applicable laws.
